My Win for this Week – Weekly Weigh-In

I used to be compulsive about weighing every day and even multiple times a day. I eventually realized that the natural fluctuations in my weight tended to cause me to become discouraged, sometimes even to the point of wanting to give up. That is why I’ve decided to change things this year and weigh in just once a week, on Mondays. I admit I was quite nervous about stepping on the scales this morning since I hadn’t been on them in a week. I needn’t have been. Although I had a couple days last week when I didn’t stay within the recommended guidelines for calories, carbs, fat, and protein, I was nonetheless down by five pounds. Yay!!
