Don’t Need Nobody

After-a-while-you-learn-that-you

This is a truth better learned by the young, before expectations have a chance to grow so big that disappointment is likely to literally kill you. Don’t ever let anyone in too far, so when they walk back out, they won’t leave too great a hole. Let them in, accept help; and then, the day you need them most, they’ll be gone. If I can’t get it on my own, I guess I don’t need it after all.
